For those considering dental implants, concerns about pain during and after surgery are common. However, you can relax knowing that The Dental Implant Place boasts a number of unique services and advantages that ensure that your procedure will be as comfortable as possible.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
At The Dental Implant Place, we offer a treatment approach that’s meant to maximize your comfort, shorten your healing time, and promote long-term healthy gum and bone health in your mouth. We call this the Minimally Invasive Approach, and it’s a philosophy that our dental implant dentist, Dr. Steve Brown, has used successfully to care for his implant patients since 2007. This unique and revolutionary approach to dental implants emphasizes using only the most optimally-sized dental implants for your unique bone structure. While many dentists and oral surgeons offer only one size of dental implant (usually 3-6mm in diameter), The Dental Implant Place offers every size and type, including mini implants. We also avoid using invasive dental procedures to place your dental implant – rather than use flaps and drilling, Dr. Brown makes a tiny pinhole in the gum and then gently rotates the implant into place, providing a natural a process for your bone and implant to fuse together. This approach will minimize dental implants pain and encourage faster healing.
Dr. Steve Brown is a nationally-renowned dental implant surgeon who has served the Fort Worth community with excellence for over 25 years and has focused exclusively on dental implants since 2007. He has placed over 8000 dental implants, and dentists from around the country have traveled to our Fort Worth facility to study Dr. Brown’s technique and train under his tutelage. As one of the first dentists in the United States to practice the minimally invasive approach, you can be confident that you are receiving only the highest quality dental implant care in his hands.
Oral Conscious Sedation and IV Sedation
The Dental Implant Place offers oral conscious sedation complementary with your implant procedure. During oral conscious sedation, you will take a pill, which relaxes your mind and body and sometimes even leads to a light sleep. The patient is usually conscious during this process (hence the name “oral conscious sedation”), but patients often remember little from the time they were sedated.
Some patients prefer to be completely unconscious during their implant treatment. For these patients, we offer IV Sedation at an affordable rate.
