Technology for Higher-Quality Care
These days, any dental office and/or laboratory is limited by the extent of its technology. We believe that our patients deserve for us to go the extra mile when rebuilding their smiles, which is why we’ve expanded our capabilities using some of the latest digital imaging and treatment technologies.
Much of our technology is housed within our in-house dental lab, where we can customize and craft any dental crown, bridge, or denture to be supported by your implants. Our lab is as well-equipped as most off-site laboratories, but offers the convenience of not having to wait for an off-site technician to craft and deliver your restoration.
CT, or computed tomography, is a digital scanning technology that creates a precise, 3D model of your teeth, their roots, and the surrounding oral structures. A CT scan combines multiple digital X-rays from varying angles to create a highly accurate image of your oral health. We may utilize the scan for diagnostic and/or treatment planning in combination with other digital images and measurements.
CAD/CAM, or computer-aided design/manufacturing, is one of our more innovative technologies. The system digitally measures your teeth, dental ridges, and oral structures to record the optimal size, shape, contour, and measurements of your teeth. Then, it digitally designs your restoration according to these measurements, and creates the restoration on-site through a digital milling machine (much like a 3D printer). CAD/CAM helps us create your restoration in a single day, so you don’t have to wait to enjoy your new smile.
Guided Implant Surgery
Guided dental implant surgery involves the use of a digitally mapped “guide” that allows for enhanced precision when placing your dental implants. The digital guide is mapped out during your implant planning phase, and is designed to place each implant post in an optimal position to absorb your bite’s pressure. With guided implant surgery, you have a greater chance of your dental implant posts lasting for life, and never needing replacement.
